  • Our team is growing, and we are seeking a Technology Business Architect to join our APAC team, supporting Australia and New Zealand.

Job Summary

The Technology Business Architect will be responsible for aligning business objectives with IT goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in IT strategy creation, ensuring alignment with enterprise and business unit strategies.
  • Developing synthesized business capability and technology advancement strategies, as well as long-term roadmaps.
  • Providing insights and thought-leadership on industry trends and best practices to guide business priorities, customer experience advancements, and technology decisions.
  • Utilizing high-level business process and IT system architectures to guide business capability and technology advancement roadmaps, collaborating with business stakeholders and IT colleagues.
  • Planning and managing an annual IT investment portfolio, aligned with budgetary thresholds, business priorities, and IT strategies.
  • Creating and processing IT investment proposals, working with business stakeholders, PMO, and IT Delivery colleagues to define scope, ROI, risks & mitigations, major components of work, staffing requirements, and financial needs.
  • Serving as the IT Lead for IT investments, ensuring successful achievement of scope, cost, schedule, quality, adoption, and value outcomes.
  • Participating in Steering Committees, Operating Committees, and/or Agile Program Increment Events to guide activities, make trade-off decisions, remove roadblocks, and unify business stakeholder and IT communities.
  • Providing functional management of Business Analysts deployed on solution delivery projects.
  • Supporting risk management, regulatory compliance, Information Security, and audit remediation activities.
  • Supporting business continuity and disaster recovery efforts, including the creation of business impact analyses.
  • Supporting the definition and utilization of IT governance processes and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field.
  • At least 15 years of proven experience in IT, with at least 5 years of business partnership experience and exposure to senior business and IT management.
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple business and IT groups.
