Cloud Solutions Architect Lead

We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect Lead to join our team at Macquarie Technology Group. As the primary technical interface, you will provide business and technical consultancy to the sales team during the sales process and act as a conduit between customer and internal teams during project initiation.

The Opportunity

As the Cloud Solutions Architect Lead, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical design and solution support to Business Development Managers and Account Executives. You will assist in managing RFT responses, including costings, particularly in the Enterprise and Corporate IT sector. Additionally, you will contribute to the content preparation of responses to RFTs and equivalents on Hosting solutions and capabilities.

You will also provide thought leadership to clients and technical mentorship to other consultants. Furthermore, you will create, modify, and run the Trusted Advisor program and contribute to managed blogging, marketing, and PR campaigns.

Ideal Skills and Experience
  • Degree in Engineering/Computer Science
  • 10 years of experience in consulting roles
  • Experience across Azure cloud infrastructure and/or security is required
  • Previous experience as a principal consultant ideally in a cloud managed services provider
  • Detailed knowledge of Macquarie Technology's infrastructure/solutions and/or competitors' products and solutions
  • Extensive experience in hosting solutions, managed services, operations, network design, systems integration, or technical support role is highly desirable

In this role, you can expect a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
