About This Role

We are a leading Australian distributor of trade products to residential, commercial and infrastructure customers.

This is a great opportunity for you to join our merchandising team as we partner with suppliers to manage stakeholder relationships across all buying functions.

Your key focus will be on optimising product portfolios in our Bathroom and Kitchen range while maintaining profitability in line with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Category Lead to develop supplier relationships and negotiate prices.
  • Analyse category performance data to inform business decisions.
  • Provide reporting and insights on category portfolios, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to product development, R&D and supplier management processes.

Requirements

  • A degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills, with ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Excel and Power BI.
  • A passion for product and a desire to understand the industry.
