Job Opportunity: Senior Business Leader

Rivalea is an integrated agri-food company with significant interests in agricultural, processing and marketing.

The business has a long history, over 50 years old, and operates across multiple farming, processing and distribution sites in New South Wales and Victoria.

About the Role:

This leadership position plays a key role in driving profitable sales growth by building category, brand and portfolio strategy across retail grocery, wholesale and commodity/trading channels.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a high-performance team of professionalsDevelop and drive a strong customer-centric mindsetBUILD TRUSTING RELATIONSHIPS ACROSS FUNCTIONS AND CHANNELSCreate compelling category strategies that align with customer needsBUILD STRONG BRANDS AND DRIVE ROIManage effective portfolio management processesLEAD RETAIL PRICING STRATEGY AND PARTNERSHIP WITH SALES TEAMDevelop and execute corporate branding initiativesBuild professional relationships with agencies to drive outcomesPlan, influence and execute projects to build trust and respectDevelop and manage annual category and brand plansDrive disciplined portfolio and stage gate processMeasure and track performance against agreed targetsMANAGE THE PORTFOLIO OF SALES TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE POSITIONManage trade marketing and category insight budgets

About You:

You are a natural leader with demonstrated capacity to lead and develop others. You have experience in similar Brand and Category Management positions and are skilled at building relationships and driving results.

You possess a strategic mindset, attention to detail and ability to execute effectively. You understand how to measure and drive strong ROI in brand and insight investment.

You are a skilled influencer with excellent communication skills and ability to build strong brands and portfolios through compelling category planning.

You have experience with building high-performing teams from scratch and leveraging category and shopper insights to unlock opportunities.

You are self-managed and self-motivated with proven agility in adapting to changing circumstances.
