Job Description

The Category and Supplier Terms Manager role is a critical position within our Wholesale business, responsible for leading the product portfolio, supplier base, and commercial trading terms on behalf of the category team.

This individual will be accountable for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential in this role, as is the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in category management and commercial analysis, preferably in a high-volume, hardgoods trade-focused environment
  • Demonstrated success in driving improvements across fulfilment service levels, GMROI, stock turn, and working capital
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with multiple data inputs and layers of complexity
  • Exceptional business intelligence, data analytical skills, coupled with advanced Excel and a knowledge of marketing principles in a B2B environment
