We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales & Customer Service Leader to drive our client's sales growth and elevate customer service standards in the agricultural industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage in-depth product knowledge to promote and sell our client's diverse agricultural product range.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships through proactive engagement, needs assessments, and solution recommendations.
  • Negotiate and finalise contracts to secure favourable terms for both parties.
  • Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets through effective prospecting, lead generation, and closing techniques.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies.
  • Lead and mentor the customer service team, imparting product expertise and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the sales team's skills and product knowledge.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and create development plans for team members.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with customer service and sales support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success in agricultural sales or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of agricultural products and practices.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Google Workspace, and internal company programs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive, strategic mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and independent work environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
