Job Overview

The Aviation Security team is responsible for security, loss prevention, and regulatory compliance. We are seeking a skilled AvSec Security Specialist to support and oversee our Aviation Security operations in Australia.

This role encompasses new initiatives for the transportation supply chain. Responsibilities include supporting regional AvSec operations, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, federal regulations, and standardized processes. The AvSec Specialist performs ongoing assessments of operating risks and develops appropriate mitigation strategies to sustain business operations, existing and future.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage ambiguity through knowledge to decide who does which tasks to meet daily goals.
  • Verify compliance with security procedures and regulatory standards, physical security design standards and policies.
  • Utilize Security Management Systems (SeMS) processes for risk mitigation.

A Day in the Life:

  • Supervise and tactically manage areas with procedures or workflow.
  • Conduct audits and security assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate successful results for customers.
