Security Technology Specialist

Pivotal Role in Aviation Security and Operations Management

We are seeking a skilled Security Technology Specialist to support our critical security infrastructure during a time of transformation.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the safety and security of our terminal, especially as we roll out new screening technologies.

You will be integral to the successful integration of new screening systems, providing hands-on support for system updates, troubleshooting, vendor management, and continuous improvement. Your expertise will help ensure our security systems remain robust, reliable, and ready to support evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS) and CCTV systems
  • Monitoring system status, alarms, and uptime, with active intervention when issues arise
  • Managing service desk tickets and collaborating with Applications Support during upgrades
  • Designing and integrating systems for new projects
  • Managing vendor relationships to meet service agreements
  • Configuring access permissions for stakeholders
  • Monitoring hardware lifecycles and contributing to asset replacement planning
  • Leading camera view management with operational stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience working with enterprise servers, security software, and field hardware
  • Hands-on knowledge of legacy and modern EACS and CCTV systems
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and aviation security principles
  • Practical experience with CCTV analytics integration
  • Ability to manage contractors and vendor SLAs effectively
  • Excellent communication skills – able to explain technical systems clearly
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work within complex environments
