Responsibilities of the Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Territory Manager will be tasked with achieving sales revenue targets for the NSW territory , ensuring comprehensive account management, and demonstrating effective territory management through organization, technical expertise, administration, inventory oversight, and expense management.

In this role, you will:

  • Meet sales revenue and market share objectives for your designated territory by promoting our RDN product line to key specialists and technical personnel.
  • Assess the clinical and service requirements of clients, delivering exceptional clinical service and technical support while identifying efficiencies.
  • Provide top-tier clinical case support in hybrid operating rooms and cardiac catheterization labs to ensure optimal use of Drug Eluting Stents and procedural protocols for the Symplicity Spyral Renal Denervation System.
  • Maintain organization and effective management of inventory, case support schedules, administrative tasks, and expenses.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for your territory and actively participate in broader state QBRs.
  • Develop awareness and engage with key influencers and hospital stakeholders to implement account strategies.
  • Proactively manage clinical support and educational needs.
  • Assist in sales activities by delivering presentations to healthcare professionals on relevant educational and training topics.
  • Communicate effectively by providing feedback on commercial and clinical opportunities to relevant teams.
  • Consistently establish and achieve quarterly performance targets.
  • Collaborate with product managers and inventory teams to monitor field inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels relative to demand, and manage timely follow-ups on missing stock.
  • Ensure compliance with local Quality System standards in all activities.
  • Adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies.
  • Be prepared for occasional after-hours case support as needed.
  • Travel requirement: less than 25%.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, General Science, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the medical devices, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.
  • Experience in a Cardiac Catheter Lab is highly valued.
  • Strong clinical and technical knowledge, including familiarity with clinical literature.
  • Proficient in account planning, territory management, and forecasting.
  • Ability to implement consultative selling techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain clinical and business relationships with clients.
  • Understanding of hospital lab/theatre operations, including purchasing, consignment, clinics, and patient scheduling.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly the MS Office suite.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
