About the Role:



This full-time, temporary position is scheduled to commence on January 31st, 2025. We welcome applications from recent graduates as well. As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students.



  • Demonstrating sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
  • Utilising formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • Employing a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • Supporting the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • Demonstrating excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
  • Integrating technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences


Requirements:



  • Tertiary qualification in Education
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead
