Clinical Governance Specialist Job

Are you a healthcare professional with experience in clinical governance and leadership? Do you have the skills to improve patient care and service delivery?

This role is responsible for providing guidance and support to our clinical team to ensure adherence to quality standards. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop, implement, and review evidence-based clinical policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures that meet quality standards.
  • Provide expert guidance to the clinical team on quality standards and service improvement.
  • Conduct audits against Aged Care Standards and report findings to senior management.
  • Support leaders with advice and guidance on safe and effective clinical practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Establish and manage auditing and monitoring systems to support continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing or related field and relevant experience in clinical governance.
  • Strong commitment to excellence and demonstrated experience with aged care quality standards and legislation.
  • Previous experience in clinical leadership with the ability to act as a positive role model.
  • Proficiency in auditing, analysis, and critical thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to undertake duties at different locations as required.
