headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to young people.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and direction to the Centre team.
- Ensure day-to-day clinical work effectively meets the needs of young people.
- In consultation with the manager, provide formal clinical supervision and support to the team.
- Work within a model of responsivity and adapting to changing needs within the community.
The Clinical Lead will also be responsible for carrying a small caseload, providing brief intervention and counselling to clients.
Effective communication with young people, family, community and stakeholders is essential.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**Possession of Bachelor level tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing or other Allied Health or Behavioural/Social Sciences.
Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or AASW is required.
Police clearance and Working with Children Check are also necessary.
