Employment Coach

About the Role:

Mai-Wel Limited seeks two Casual Employment Coaches to support participants in developing skills, gaining confidence, and reaching their employment goals.

The successful candidate will plan, deliver, and assess skill development training aligned with participant goals. They will also provide mentoring, coaching, and workplace support to help participants succeed.

Additionally, the role involves facilitating work experience opportunities and problem-solving workplace challenges. Strong relationships will be built with participants, their support networks, and employers.

Support will also be provided with personal care, communication, transport, and daily needs in line with individual plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver and assess skill development training
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and workplace support
  • Facilitate work experience opportunities and problem-solve workplace challenges
  • Build strong relationships with participants, their support networks and employers
  • Support participants with personal care, communication, transport and daily needs
Requirements:
  • Experience in human services sector, ideally within NDIS or employment support
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor and motivate others
  • Flexibility to work across different locations and shifts
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, Youth or a related qualification (minimum requirement)
  • Current First Aid Certificate and Driver's Licence
