Dean of Student Support Opportunity

Comet Bay College is seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join the College Leadership Team as a Dean of Student Support. This role will involve leading the Student Support Team in implementing key aspects of the College Business and Operational Plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the work of the Student Support Team to promote effective engagement with the College Behaviour Management Policy and Guidelines.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of school policies and procedures, identifying strategies for improvement, and formulating changes.
  • Provide advice and support to staff, building morale and professionalism within the team.
  • Manage the Student Support Operational Budget and allocate resources effectively to meet the needs of students and staff.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated capacity to provide effective leadership in diverse educational settings.
  • High level of interpersonal and public relations skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated professional knowledge and ability to apply it to ensure high educational outcomes for all students.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage physical and financial resources.
