About the Role:

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a unique opportunity to work with ADF personnel, providing holistic care and support for their journey from rehabilitation to healing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a more comprehensive approach to care, working within a collaborative team to support clients in achieving optimal outcomes
  • Perform various assessments, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including clients, medical specialists, and other treatment providers
  • Work across ADF and DVA portfolios, supporting Veterans and current ADF members

Location: The role will involve working across local ADF bases, with options for work from home.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted registration with relevant professional bodies
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for helping people rehabilitate
