Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment Advisor

Our team is seeking a dedicated professional to provide functional support, assistance and advisory services to our sites to ensure management and workers are aware of their obligations in relation to quality systems and statutory compliance relating to health, safety and environment. The role involves providing guidance on the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the HSE Management Standards and processes relevant to our sites.

About the Role:
  • Provide functional support, assistance and advisory services to our sites to ensure management and workers are aware of their obligations in relation to quality systems and statutory compliance relating to health, safety and environment.
  • Based at our Malaga site, with regular visits to other sites, provide functional advice to assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the HSE Management Standards and processes relevant to our sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and report on improvements and corrective actions where applicable and provide functional support to ensure such improvement and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Schedule and deliver HSE compliance and operational training to employees, as required and in accordance with procedures, standards and legislation.
  • Assist with the development of relevant compliance management procedures, and advise to ensure our sites are compliant concerning all relevant HSE regulations and Group Quality systems.
  • Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes, contributing factors and corrective actions and communicate key learnings to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116).
  • Strong auditing and/or investigation skills.
  • Heavy Vehicle/ Forklift Licence (or willing to obtain).
  • Working knowledge of relevant Safety and Environmental legislation & Standards and Compliance.
