Job Description

Our organization seeks a Group Safety Specialist to lead a team in providing specialist expertise and support for health and safety systems, tools, and analytics.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Defining strategies, roadmaps, and business cases to address HSE challenges through innovative use of data, analytics, and AI.
  • Consulting with stakeholders to identify and scope technical requirements for HSE systems and analytics.
  • Implementing a centralized HSE data management framework that leverages modern tools to automate processes, support data asset build and use, and ensure quality.
  • Utilizing knowledge of data technologies, standards, and management techniques to improve project definition and delivery.
  • Designing comprehensive HSE reporting, analysis, and documentation mechanisms.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in OHS, Environment, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A Certificate IV or similar in a relevant IT-related field.
  • Well-versed in using business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, Spotfire, Quicksight).
  • Advanced proficiency with the MS Office suite of products.
