About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Specialist to join our team at Crypto Recruit. As a key member of our community team, you will be responsible for managing and creating community initiatives and campaigns to scale our developer and user communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and create community initiatives and campaigns to scale our developer and user communities
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor community initiatives and best practices
  • Create and manage content calendars to organize marketing output, including community calls, blog posts, tutorials, and social media content
  • Host community calls and events to engage with our community
  • Assist the Developer Evangelist with community engagement and outreach
  • Support and inspire our growing developer and user communities, including the Ambassador programs
  • Assist Ambassadors with marketing collateral and onboarding materials
  • Provide a feedback loop to connect our product teams with the community and empower Ambassadors
  • Communicate and support our community on various channels and platforms
  • Work with Community Leads to organize and attend community events, conferences, and meetups
  • Source and vet event participation opportunities to include in our community engagement schedule
  • Build relationships with organizations and companies in the ecosystem to create educational opportunities and collaborations
  • Contribute key metrics and OKRs/KPIs to track the effectiveness of our Community Engagement Campaigns
Requirements
  • 4+ years of work experience in developer community management, UX marketing, or project management
  • Event planning or management experience a plus
  • Knowledge of the blockchain ecosystem and/or experience collaborating with the open-source developer community
  • Avid learner, self-motivated, and able to explain complex technology to others
  • Ability to work autonomously, set agenda, and prioritize work with minimal input
  • Collaborative and communicative across a global team
  • Comfortable working remotely with a global team and community, across global timezones, in English and potentially in multiple other languages
  • Comfortable with possible travel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the company's Academy, KERNAL.community, Hacker DAO, or well-structured blockchain bootcamp program
  • Development experience creating DApps or participation in Eth Global hackathon
  • Experience using the product's tools
  • Active contributor or community manager of a DAO or online community
  • Consistent meetup organizer experience
