The Laboratory Supervisor Controller is the strategic and business partner of the laboratory manager, responsible for managing the financial performance and effective management of the laboratory.

This role plays a key part in strategic and operational decision-making within the laboratory, including investment, risk management, contract management, compliance, and other areas.

The successful candidate will contribute to implementing and executing defined service strategies and business models within the laboratory, translating strategy into business plans and setting measurable targets.

They will be accountable for overall business performance, monitoring progress, providing insights, and driving strategic and operational decision-making. They will drive profitable growth, improve cost structure, enhance productivity, and manage cash flow and working capital effectively.

The ideal candidate must have experience in finance and controlling, risk management, and leadership, with strong analytical thinking skills and knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Additionally, they must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and lead a high-performing finance team.
