We provide a wide range of services to support the asphalt and civil construction industry, including asphalt laboratory testing, pavement investigations, asphalt coring in accordance with TfNSW standards, coal tar testing, and bitumen binder degradation analysis.

Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Asphalt Laboratory Technician located in Newcastle, NSW. The Asphalt Laboratory Technician will be responsible for handling and operating laboratory equipment, performing quality control tests, and analyzing asphalt samples. The technician will conduct tests to measure the properties of materials, collect and record data, and ensure the accuracy of test results. They will also assist with the preparation of laboratory reports and maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety standards.
Qualifications
Proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory equipmentExperience in quality control procedures and standardsStrong analytical skills for data analysis and interpretationPossess asphalt laboratory skills and technical knowledge of laboratory operationsExperience working as a laboratory technicianAttention to detail and accuracy in reportingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant certifications or training in laboratory techniquesExperience in asphalt coring to TfNSW standards, including safe operation of coring equipment, sample handling, and site-based testing procedures.
