First Creek Winemaking Services is a highly awarded contract winemaking and bottling facility based in the Hunter Valley.

We are looking for a Laboratory Manager with quality control background and attention to detail to lead our small but dedicated team of Lab Technicians.

Reporting to the Senior Winemaker, this role covers winery analysis and bottling line QC and direct communication with contract bottling clients.

Job Requirements
- Scientific tertiary qualifications with a bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent.
- Previous position within in a laboratory environment
- Excellent communication skills are a must with good computer skills and data management also required
- A willingness to take ownership of laboratory function, A willingness to train and work cooperatively with winemakers, bottling line supervisors and Lab technicians.
- Strong Knowledge and experience with Laboratory operating procedures and automated equipment.
- Strong knowledge of all standard wine and bottling analysis.
