Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to deliver exceptional on-site support services for mobile and crawler cranes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of crane systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and load-testing to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Train clients on safe crane operation, maintenance protocols, and troubleshooting basics.
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to escalate complex issues and improve product design.
  • Document service activities, including fault diagnostics, repairs, and parts usage, in detailed reports.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers for timely procurement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience servicing heavy lifting equipment, preferably cranes.
  • Strong communication skills in English; ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Valid driving license and ability to work autonomously.
Work Environment:
  • The position is based in Brisbane but requires flexibility to travel regionally and occasionally internationally.
