Job Title: Crane Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Maintenance Technician to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our Mechanical Handling Services division, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of offshore cranes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and have hands-on experience in maintaining hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical aspects of offshore cranes. Proficiency in fault-finding and troubleshooting is essential, as well as the ability to effectively assess tools and materials required for tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and maintenance activities on offshore cranes to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collate maintenance reports and recommend further attention or improvements.
  • Fault-find hydraulic, mechanical, and/or electrical systems.
  • Assess tools and materials needed for tasks.
  • Operate within established safety systems and procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineers on work-pack development and report close-outs.

A Trade Qualification, MSIC, OPITO BOSIET, Working at Heights, Enter & Work in Confined Space, IRATA Rope Access, Rigging HWRL, and experience maintaining offshore or tower cranes are necessary qualifications for this role. Additionally, the ability to read and execute work packs and build relationships with client personnel is crucial.
