Salary

Estimated salary for this role: AU$150,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

This critical role within Rest requires a Senior Manager, Business Continuity & Physical Security Operations, to lead the implementation and maintenance of business continuity strategies. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with extensive experience in risk assessment, emergency response planning, and business impact analysis.

The Senior Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure Rest's operations can continue smoothly despite disruptions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, testing, and maintaining business unit-specific continuity plans.
  • Conducting regular business continuity drills and exercises to validate recovery strategies.
  • Liaising with IT on disaster recovery efforts and aligning technology recovery strategy with business continuity objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this challenging role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, emergency management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, physical security operations, or a similar role within a complex organisational environment.
  • Certifications like CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or MBCI (Member of the Business Continuity Institute) are highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
