Job Overview

This role will be based in location. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least two to three days a week in the office.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Development and Implementation of Business Resilience Framework: In partnership with business owners, lead the development and implementation of the Business Resilience Framework across the Mercer Super lines of business, encompassing incident, emergency, and crisis management.
  • Deliver Business Resilience Management Approach: Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the business resilience management approach, ensuring alignment with legislative and regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Facilitate Operating Unit Activities: Facilitate the Operating Unit through activities such as Business Impact Analysis exercises and Business Resilience Plan development/update.
  • Develop Policies and Procedures: Develop policies, procedures, and other relevant documentation to support business continuity efforts.
  • Foster Strategic Relationships: Develop strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor Adherence: Manage and monitor ongoing adherence with the Business Resilience Management policy and framework.
  • Plan Business Recovery Test Requirements: Develop and facilitate the schedule of Business Recovery Plan test requirements and exercises, guided by the global MMC Business Resilience Management program and framework.
  • Promote Visibility: Plan and promote visibility to the annual schedule of annual calendar of Business Resilience Management activity.
  • Integrate Crisis Response: Work with stakeholders to further integrate crisis response, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning across business lines.
  • Lead Incident Response: Lead incident response activities to drive resolution and minimize disruption as a key member of the Incident Response Team (IRT).
  • Report Business Resilience Activities: Develop and assist in reporting on Business Resilience Management activities to Boards, management, regulators, partners, and clients.
  • Provide Training: Develop and provide periodic ad-hoc training on Business Resilience Management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in professional services organization or professional customer services.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving and implementing Business Resilience management programs in an Australian Superannuation and/or Banking context.
  • Relevant risk management and technology qualifications are an advantage.
