Job Overview

As a Client Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to share your recovery journey with others and help facilitate self-directed recovery. This role is focused on providing consumer-driven services and modeling traits such as personal responsibility, self-advocacy, and hopefulness.

The position involves referring consumers to community resources, attending meetings and consumer staffings, and helping develop programs that cater to their needs. It's essential to maintain a safe and sanitary living environment and provide support in various aspects of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide consumer-driven services to support individuals in their recovery journeys.
  • Model traits such as personal responsibility, self-advocacy, and hopefulness to create a positive impact.
  • Refer and link consumers to community resources, ensuring they receive the necessary support.
  • Attend meetings and consumer staffings to stay informed and contribute to program development.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary living environment, promoting health and well-being.
  • Answer calls and messages, receive and distribute mail, and observe video surveillance equipment where applicable.

To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) certification or equivalent experience. Experience in crisis intervention or co-occurring treatment is highly valued.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • CADC certification or equivalent experience in counseling and therapy.
  • Valid driver's license and private automobile insurance for transportation purposes.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with MS Word, email, and electronic medical records.
