About the Role

As a Work Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the coordination of our compliance with Work Health & Safety legislation and maintaining our WHS Management System to meet legislative requirements and ISO standards.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety.
  • Experience in developing, designing, and integrating WHS Management Systems in compliance with WHS legislation and ISO.
  • Expert knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act, relevant legislations, and codes of practice.
  • Expertise in conducting detailed safety incident investigations using root cause or ICAM methodologies.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to educate and influence regarding WHS matters.
  • A commitment to COVID-19 vaccination or medical exemption upon commencement.
  • Alignment with our organisational values of respect, integrity, trust, teamwork, and optimism.
