About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality professional to join our team at IPD Australia. As a pivotal member of our organisation, you will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive HSEQ strategy aligned with regulatory requirements and organisational goals.

About You:

  • You will have extensive experience in WHS consulting or advisory roles, with a proven track record in developing and implementing WHS strategies and programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Work Health & Safety Act, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), and risk management principles.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline or relevant experience.
  • ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Training (advantageous).
  • Previous experience working in the electrical sector is essential.
  • Experience managing site-based WHS programs, from inductions and competency assessments to hazard identification and incident reporting.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office Suite, document management systems, audit tools).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, educating internal stakeholders and contractors about the benefits of a safe working environment.
  • Methodical problem-solving approach and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
