Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for preparing various financial records, including monthly accounting entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and annual and half-yearly reports. Essential to this role is strong communication skills to work alongside internal and external stakeholders, offering support on projects and program upgrades in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role is based in our Burnley head office with hybrid/flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly accounting entries for Country Road Group
  • Preparation of monthly corporate credit card reconciliation and accrual
  • Assist in the completion of the month-end financial close process
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for CRG
  • Identification and implementation of process improvements
  • Ad-Hoc project support

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or related
  • Experience using Oracle, exposure to Futura/Magenta POS advantageous but not essential
  • Stakeholder management, strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Exceptional attention to detail and eye for process improvement
  • Previous experience in retail or similar industry highly desirable
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating with others
