Job Title: Senior Communications Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Officer to join our team at Flexhive. As a key member of our Communications Branch, you will be responsible for developing and implementing targeted content across various internal and external channels to achieve key outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating engaging content for diverse audiences
  • Managing stakeholder engagement and ensuring clear, consistent messaging across digital platforms, newsletters, and reports
  • Providing high-level communication, engagement, and issues management advice to senior management and business areas

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in communications and content development
  • Strong writing, editing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences

Key Duties:

  • Develop fit-for-purpose communication material for a broad range of channels, including fact sheets, newsletter articles, talking points, and media releases
  • Provide high-level communication, engagement, and issues management advice to senior management and business areas
  • Assist the Director in fostering optimal team culture, planning, and driving productivity
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Key Capabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing high-quality communication products in a range of formats
  • High level of personal drive and integrity while achieving results
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to quickly understand and translate complex information into accessible and fit-for-purpose communication pieces for a broad range of internal and external audiences
  • Excellent liaison and interpersonal skills, including the ability to cultivate productive and collaborative working relationships
  • Ability to work within a small team as well as independently, across various projects
  • Excellent judgement and ability to think strategically, analytically, problem-solve, and escalate issues where needed
