Senior Communications Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join our Australia New Zealand Marketing and Communications team, based in our Melbourne office.
As a Senior Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies to support our business growth and reputation in Australia and New Zealand.
You will work closely with our regional delivery and operational leadership teams to coordinate and create communications and messaging to help drive our EVP, employee engagement, and keep our business informed and aligned.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing communications strategies to support business growth and reputation
- Collaborating with our Australia New Zealand and Global Communications teams on channel strategy development, content creation, and coordination for our external channels
- Working closely with our regional delivery and operational leadership teams to coordinate and create communications and messaging
- Assisting our multidisciplinary team of nearly 4000+ engineers, planners, project managers, environmentalists, and scientists in delivering on time, every time, for our clients
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary journalism and/or communications qualification (s) or equivalent
- Experience working in a corporate communications environment
- Competency in MS Office, Powerpoint
- A sense of humour (non-negotiable; we like to laugh)
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative and relationship-building skills
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and technical staff
