Senior Communications Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join our Australia New Zealand Marketing and Communications team, based in our Melbourne office.
As a Senior Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communications strategies to support our business growth and reputation in Australia and New Zealand.
You will work closely with our Australia New Zealand and Global Communications teams to coordinate and create communications and messaging to help drive our EVP, employee engagement, and keep our business informed and aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective communications strategies to support business growth and reputation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and create communications and messaging
- Work closely with senior leadership to build rapport, trust, and influence
- Manage and maintain our external channels, including our website and social media
- Develop and edit content to ensure it is clear, concise, and engaging
Requirements
- Tertiary journalism and/or communications qualification (s) or equivalent
- Experience working in a corporate communications environment
- Competency in MS Office, Powerpoint
- Proactivity, speed, and responsiveness
- A sense of humour
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills
