Account Manager Job Description

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing your own portfolio of customers to enhance existing relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop value in allocated account portfolios through professional field sales and high-level customer consultation.
• Perform customer calls as specified in the sales execution policy using pragmatic time and territory management systems.
• Identify new business opportunities and negotiate trade agreements to secure and maximise profitability for customers.
• Sell applications, conduct on-site demonstrations, and provide problem-solving services.

Requirements

• Solution selling and customer-centric approach to sales.
• Experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Representative, or Sales Consultant.
• Background in Engineering a plus.
• Valid Australian driver's license.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite, smartphones, and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM desirable.
• Motivated and capable of working independently, managing call cycles.
• Proven negotiation and influencing abilities with advanced planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop engaged customer relationships and implement strategic concepts.
