Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled administrator to provide essential support within a Local Government authority. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the Community Amenity team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance, including correspondence management and departmental communication.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries related to parking, animal control, planning, and compliance matters.
  • Maintain and update databases to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Assess applications and issue necessary permits.
  • Prepare reports and manage data entry tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Local Government is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with local laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record in administrative roles with strong organizational skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with a focus on accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Strong time management abilities and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional integrity.
