SDA and Tenancy Coordinator


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SDA provider and landlord to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction, seamless administration, and successful delivery of SDA and tenancy management functions.

As an SDA and Tenancy Senior Coordinator, you will support high-level initiatives, project planning, and stakeholder engagement. You will act as a senior escalation point for complex tenancy issues and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with SDA provider obligations, meeting all legal and regulatory requirements.
  2. Deliver notices to SDA customers, including rent increases and temporary relocations.
  3. Maintain vacancy data and upload it to the NDIA SDA Finder portal.
  4. Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries and providing ongoing support.
  5. Assist tenants in understanding their rights and responsibilities, including the terms of their tenancy agreements.
  6. Assist in coordinating rental amounts in line with government rates and payment schedules.
  7. Monitor and report financial metrics, identifying errors and working with stakeholders to resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM systems, and cloud-based document management tools.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to change.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the NDIS framework and tenancy management processes. Willingness to learn state tenancy legislations.
  • Experience working in the disability sector or a property management environment.
  • Familiarity with data management and reporting tools.
