Maternity Care Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled Maternity Care Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced midwife to provide high-quality care to women throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postnatal journey.

  • Covering an on-call roster to deliver evidence-based continuity of care from antenatal to intrapartum and up to 6 weeks postnatal
  • Working within community and hospital environments to support women's health needs
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Supporting the development of maternity services through data collection and quality improvement initiatives

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Current registration with the relevant professional body
  • Recent experience working in antenatal, birth suite, and postnatal settings
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing continuity of care to women (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to ongoing education and professional development
