Maternity Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Maternity Care Specialist to provide high-quality care to women and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.
The successful candidate will have current registration with the relevant professional body, at least one year of postgraduate experience in a maternity environment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles.
The ideal applicant will possess an enthusiastic and mature attitude, demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment, and understand the importance of providing patient-centered care.
- Provide midwifery care to patients from early pregnancy to postnatal care
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and provide bereavement support
- Conduct inductions and care in early labour
Key Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- At least one year of postgraduate experience in an Antenatal environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles
