Reporting to the Pacific Services Manager, the Interlock Installation & Service Manager (IISM) will be pivotal in overseeing the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of services delivered by authorized Draeger Interlock agencies and installation workshops across Australia and New Zealand. This role offers the opportunity for autonomy and flexibility, including hybrid working arrangements.
The IISM will be instrumental in:
- Leading a dedicated team of Interlock installation and repair specialists;
- Managing all aspects of internal and external installation, service, and operational activities;
- Conducting regular visits to audit and support local and interstate teams, including agency partners;
- Actively identifying and onboarding new agencies to foster business expansion;
- Collaborating with the Interlock support team to train new agencies and service providers on technical specifications;
- Driving continuous enhancements in installation, service, repair, and data management processes for improved efficiency and profitability;
- Ensuring compliance with local and national regulations in all operations;
- Regularly reporting on business performance against assigned KPIs;
- Maintaining a compliance-focused approach across all activities;
- Prioritizing safety in all operations.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- A tertiary qualification or relevant experience in Business, Frontline Management, or a related discipline;
- 10 to 15+ years of experience in automotive accessories, auto electrics, or a related field;
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in leading small to medium-sized technical teams;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Service Management/CRM software;
- Ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of Draeger Interlock products and their applications;
- Strong capability in identifying and meeting customer needs;
- A proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while adhering to deadlines;
- Exceptional customer focus, facilitation, influencing, negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning;
- Willingness to travel regularly for work;
- A valid Driver's License.
A Police Check will be required for this position.
