About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and automation systems, providing high-quality electrical and mechanical support to our customers. As a Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering contract repair, preventative maintenance, installations, and emergency breakdown services across the Melbourne region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-on field-based role delivering electrical and mechanical support
  • Contract repair, preventative maintenance, installations, and emergency breakdown services
  • Participation in the on-call roster and flexibility to work overtime, including weekends
  • Flexible to work day and afternoon shifts as part of the work roster
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Mechanical Fitter Trade (Restricted Electrical Licence also highly regarded)
  • Experience working with automation and material handling equipment
  • Adept with computerised maintenance (CMMS) systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults
  • PLC knowledge in Siemens S7 and Scada WIN CC
  • Licenses and certificates for Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, and First Aid
  • Current driver's license
  • Sound computer skills for record keeping, reporting, and invoicing
