Job Title: Senior Associate, Climate Finance Programs

This role involves managing key projects within the Climate Finance Programs (CFP) Branch, which are effective, innovative, and meeting government priority objectives while demonstrating good value for public expenditure.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of sustainability, climate change, resilience, adaptation, and/or net zero emissions programs. They should also possess project management skills, time management, organisational skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders to take action on delivering sustainability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, monitor, improve, and evaluate key projects within the CFP Branch.
  • Work within the Financial Management and Services Group and the Climate Change and Balance Sheet Division.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of operational requirements for successful delivery of sustainability, climate change, resilience, adaptation, and/or net zero emissions programs.
  • Proven experience in project management, influencing stakeholders, and communicating effectively.
  • Tertiary qualifications in economics, social policy, finance, law, or other relevant areas.

Estimated Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
