Mental Health Clinician – Child and Adolescent Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate mental health clinician to join our multidisciplinary team at the Northern Beaches Child and Youth Mental Health Service.
The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality care to children and young people experiencing severe and complex mental health difficulties. They will have opportunities for skill building, attendance at training, and high-level supervision in a collaborative working environment that values diversity, inclusivity, and respect.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of children and their families in the community.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications: Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing with registration with AHPRA or membership with AASW for Social Workers
- Clinical Experience: relevant mental health experience in a community setting, including working with children and/or adolescents and their families
- Treatment Experience: demonstrated training/qualifications and experience in providing treatment for children and adolescents affected by mental health problems
For this role, you will need to possess a combination of clinical knowledge, skills, and personal qualities that enable you to work effectively with children, young people, and their families in a community-based mental health service.
