Project Scheduler Opportunity

About Abergeldie, a leading contractor with 30 years' experience in delivering complex projects across various sectors, including water resources, water utilities, bridges and roads, community infrastructure, rail and energy sectors. Our team is committed to building better communities through our work on complex infrastructure projects.

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team based in Regents Park, supporting utilities projects with site visits as required. As a key member of our Utilities team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and updating project schedules to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Developing and maintaining construction schedules in Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contract requirements.
  • Tracking and reporting project progress, identifying potential risks, and recommending adjustments to keep projects on track.
  • Conducting cost and resource loading, Earned Value Management (EVM), and schedule analysis to support decision-making.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure schedules reflect real-time project conditions and constraints.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in project scheduling/planning on water and utilities projects.
  • Expertise in Primavera P6 (Essential).
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in EOT and delay analysis, cost/resource profiling, and schedule compression techniques.
  • Proven ability to engage with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and engineers, to ensure alignment on schedules and deliverables.
