Our busy specialist dental practice requires an enthusiastic dental assistant to join us. This is a role for 2-4 days per week (must be available between Tuesday-Fridays). Experience is favourable but not essential.

**About the role**

You will work with our orthodontists, dental specialists and oral health therapists and be a part of our dynamic and friendly team. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Efficient scheduling and diary management for our doctors
- Providing chairside assistance to orthodontists and therapists while learning to assist in the clinic.
- Professionalism at all times when interacting with our clients
- Managing the flow of our wonderful clients with our practices
- Adhering to strict infection control guidelines and protocols
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Building and maintaining relationships with patients and their families.
- Record keeping, patient co-ordination and administrative work.

**About you**

You will ideally possess:

- Relevant dental assisting certifications are advantageous.
- A vibrant, outgoing and positive personality who is capable of working quickly and multitasking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing nature.
- A mature mindset, ability to take initiative and to complete tasks autonomously once trained.
- A firm grasp of both written and verbal communication.
- Have successfully completed the HSC.
- The desire to work hard and as part of a team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $21.52 - $36.55 per hour

Schedule:

- No weekends
