Job Title:

Airport Operations Leader

Description:

This leadership position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of airport operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing suppliers, including both internal and external Ground Service Providers, to achieve quality and operational performance metrics and compliance with safety, security, environmental, and cyber requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of changes across various regional and capital city ports in Victoria and Tasmania.
  • Embed standards for ground operations and ensure assurance oversight to drive continuous improvements.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Postgraduate-level qualifications or equivalent operational experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of airline and airport operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Supplier Management and Customer Relationship Management experience.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to collaborate across business units, functions, and teams.
  • Strong influencing skills, resilience, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A customer-centric approach with an understanding of business fundamentals.
