Behaviour Therapy Specialist

The Behaviour Support Practitioner will provide impactful therapy to NDIS participants in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
This position requires a relevant tertiary qualification, registration, and experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and flexibility are essential for success.
- Work with diverse clients across various settings from homes and schools to community centres.
- Apply assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing funding.
- Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans using function-based strategies within a positive behaviour framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs).
- Attend weekly team meetings to share impact stories.
To succeed, you must have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Master or Graduate Diploma).
- Registration with the relevant professional body.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and flexibility.
