Job Overview

This role involves providing life-changing therapy to individuals with disabilities.

You will work in diverse settings, such as homes, schools, and community centres, using assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals.

About The Role

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team of Behaviour Support Practitioners. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, no two days will be the same.

  • You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
  • You will develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilising positive behaviour support framework.
  • You will conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve participant outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing therapy services to individuals with disabilities.
  • Conducting assessments and developing Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve participant outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters or Graduate Diploma).
  • Relevant registration (e.g. AHPRA, SPA, AASW). If you have any other educational background let me know I can customize for you
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • A positive and flexible approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills and be a team player.
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • A valid Australian drivers license.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Working with Childrens Check.
