
Strategic Behaviour Support Specialist

We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide impactful therapy to individuals. This role is ideal for professionals who align with our values of collaboration and shared principles, and can thrive in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing therapy services in diverse settings such as homes, schools, workplaces, and community centers
- Utilizing assessment and intervention skills to support individuals in achieving goals and maximizing funding
- Building meaningful relationships with individuals and their support networks (family, carers, friends)
- Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, using a positive behaviour support framework
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges
- Participating in regular team meetings to share impact stories and foster team camaraderie
- Receiving support from your Team Leader and Therapy Mentor
- A relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters, or Graduate Diploma) and appropriate registration
- Deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the relevant regulatory body (evidence of letter required)
- At least 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Positive, flexible attitude towards work
- Strong communication skills and team orientation
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- Valid Australian driver's license
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
