Behaviour Support Practitioner Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our dynamic allied health organization.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification and appropriate registration, such as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration or a Speech Pathologist with SPA registration.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide impactful therapy to NDIS participants in diverse settings
  • Utilize assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving goals and maximizing NDIS funding
  • Build meaningful relationships with participants and their support networks
  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies using a positive behaviour support framework
  • Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Appropriate registration
  • At least 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Positive, flexible attitude towards work
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
