About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to our General Manager. This is a varied and rewarding role that requires strong initiative, excellent time management skills and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executive support including diary management, task follow-up, correspondence handling, procurement and general personal assistance.
- Support divisional projects, activities and reporting including council briefings and workshops.
- Improve systems and processes to enhance team efficiency and administrative functions.
- Manage responses to internal and external enquiries and requests.
- Coordinate divisional content for the intranet, internet and councillor portal.
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive assistance in a confidential and fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding time management, attention to detail and the ability to handle competing priorities with ease.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and confidence using digital systems and tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge of Local Government operations (or a willingness to learn) and an understanding of relevant standards and policies.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture.
