Climate Change Expert – Fellowship Opportunity

This fellowship presents a singular opportunity for an exceptionally qualified researcher to contribute to a project addressing Australia's climate science challenges and adaptation requirements.
As part of the National Environmental Science Program Climate Systems Hub project on regional climate change guidance for local action, your work will enhance the understanding and usability of climate projections and climate extremes.
You will collaborate with a coordinated climate change and adaptation research program across all four NESP Hubs through the Climate Adaptation Initiative. The position is situated within the School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Melbourne, under the supervision of Dr. Andrew King, with opportunities for collaboration at the Bureau of Meteorology and CSIRO.
The ideal candidate demonstrates outstanding knowledge of climate change science and variability, with experience in using climate models and large datasets.
